About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations & Equipment Coordinator to join our Greece Operations team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient vessel operations, cargo planning, equipment optimization, and transport coordination while maintaining the highest levels of service quality for both internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Vessel Operations, Terminal Operators, and Business Partners to ensure seamless cargo execution, efficient equipment management, and continuous operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Vessel Operations & Cargo Planning
Monitor vessel allocations and utilization for both ONE and partner services.
Coordinate and communicate all required cargo and vessel information prior to vessel arrival.
Ensure timely submission of load lists, cargo manifests, dangerous goods documentation, and other operational information to terminals, vessel operators, partner lines, and port authorities.
Support vessel stowage planning activities and proactively resolve operational issues.
Monitor vessel schedules and communicate any changes or disruptions to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain accurate operational records and update relevant systems in a timely manner.
Equipment & Transport Management
Optimize the availability, positioning, and evacuation of empty containers while minimizing operational costs.
Balance equipment stocks across Greece by matching surplus locations with demand requirements.
Coordinate inland transportation requirements for both laden and empty containers in line with company policies and operational objectives.
Monitor equipment stock levels against established targets and support corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure equipment-related issues are addressed promptly to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience within shipping, container logistics, vessel operations, equipment control, or a related operational environment.
Strong understanding of container shipping operations and supply chain processes.
Dangerous Goods (DG) certification will be considered an advantage.
Permanent right to live and work in Greece.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
