JOB PURPOSE & PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Closely working with trade desks for the purpose of coordinating allocation & pricing strategies for import.

- Making regular analysis with supporting reports to contribute the sales activities

- Focal point for sales team input to forecasting activities, aiming to improve accuracy of forecasting. Ensure that input requested from Sales team is delivered in a timely manner.

- Taking output from Central Marketing (e.g. sales leads, requests for information) and ensuring that the Region pro-actively handles these outputs, monitoring follow-up and reporting on success of the initiative via Sales Force. You support your Head of Sales in preparation of Game Plans, ADPs and Sales Plans, and in monitoring performance / follow-up on non-performance. 

- Provide ad-hoc support to the Head of Sales and Sales Team as required to deliver specific sales projects. Focal point for gathering sales input and following up on sales activity for projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

The suitable candidate should have:

- A bachelor level education

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping industry

- An excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing

- Strong sales capability is a must

- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

- Strong communication skills, good at interpersonal relationships

- Prone to teamwork
