Job responsibilities:
We're seeking a highly motivated Shipping Trade Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll play a crucial part in driving our Intra-Europe Trade, through effective communication and implementation of our trade policy and objectives, as well as the management of vessel space across allocated countries / services.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Vessel Space Management for your assigned countries / services, and ensure efficient equipment flow and maximum utilisation.
Maintain service quality for designated services through proactive communication with relevant stakeholders.
Generate comprehensive KPI reports and track performance against key metrics.
Act as the main Marketing and Pricing contact for your designated countries, whilst demonstrating a sound awareness of the regional commodities, markets, competitors, seasonality, trends, opportunities, and operational infrastructure.
Respond promptly to rate requests, analysing and judging business contribution in the context of market conditions and trade performance, to deliver competitive pricing.
Prepare accurate and compelling tender submissions that showcase your commercial acumen.
Co-ordinate the implementation of Country-wise / Customer Allocation processes and manage performance.
Collaborate with regional teams to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Conduct regular analytical reviews of performance against targets, to identify trends, and take proactive measures to optimise results.
Represent the Intra Europe Trade team in internal and external meetings as required.
Operate Trade Management systems and maintain accurate data.
