The Port Operations department is responsible for the end-to-end process from pre-vessel arrival to post-vessel departure actions. Our Teams operate on Terminals in numerous countries in Europe having an opportunity to daily cooperate with various cultures and nationalities.
Cooperation with partners, vendors and cross-departmental to organise pre-vessel arrival actions and documentation
Ensuring containers receipt and loading by the completeness of data
Investigation and reporting of corrective actions post-vessel departure
Coordination post-vessel departure communication with relevant parties
Monitoring and updating of external and internal systems
Monitoring, optimisation and development of existing processes
Effective communication with relevant parties to successfully complete tasks
Just-in-time services provision to the highest standards and cultural expectations
Required Skills and Competencies
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Maritime and Logistics
Suitable working experience in logistics/shipping
Advanced English, written and spoken
Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel
Customer focus skills
Ability to work under time pressure and according to deadlines
Effective communication
Accuracy and orientation to detail
Speaking an additional language: French, Italian, Spanish or German would be an advantage
