Key Account Specialist - GC/SC

We're looking for a Key Account Specialist to be the single, trusted service owner for our key accounts. In this high-impact role, you are positioned to deepen partnerships, accelerate revenue growth, and secure our long-term success. Your mission is to be the go-to expert who owns the service relationship and guarantees premium, reliable execution that exceeds expectations. You will proactively leverage your advisory role to identify profitable, efficient solutions to drive expansion. By cementing long-term partnerships, boosting contract profitability, and crushing ONE's service KPIs, you will maximize your impact. In this position, you will manage a dynamic portfolio, expertly balancing a 50/50 workload between standard freight and complex special cargo operations.


WHAT YOU'LL DO
Portfolio Management: You will manage a dynamic portfolio, expertly balancing a 50/50 workload between standard freight and complex special cargo operations.
Service Execution: Lead the delivery of contracted services for your assigned Regional/Local Key Accounts. You are the main escalation point for clients, fixing complex problems that Key Account Support can't handle. Your goal is to protect client relationships and consistently meet service goals (KPIs).
Strategic Partnership: Be a strategic partner to Key Account Executives, delivering actionable insights into service performance, quality, and market trends. You proactively identify new business leads and expansion potential. You actively look for new opportunities and ways to grow our business with existing customers, and you oversee tracking the performance of the customer.
Sales Support: You are responsible for updating our CRM system, expanding and protecting the sales pipeline, handling and coordinating Tenders, (Spot) Rate Inquiries, and Customer onboarding.
Digital Adoption: Drive the adoption of ONE's digital tools by actively utilizing and promoting our e-commerce platform and self-service solutions.

LOCATION
This is a local position based in the Rotterdam Agency Office.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Extensive shipping knowledge and experience, preferably in Special Cargo.
Fluent in Dutch and advanced level of the English language.
Tech skills and digital know-how.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Effective communication skills and a continuous learning mindset.
